This week, became the first startup in history to enrich uranium, producing HALEU, the fuel for next-gen and small modular reactors.
We did it using Endurance, a particle accelerator that we designed and built in Texas.
Endurance usually produces enriched Yb-176, a precursor for cancer therapies worth roughly $30,000 per gram.
After a bulk Yb-176 delivery on July 30, we reconfigured Endurance for uranium.

In just a few weeks, we succeeded in producing HALEU - a critical material with a multi-year waitlist.
The recovered HALEU was produced in research quantities under the laboratory-scale exclusion in NRC regulations and was verified to be 15.38% enriched by an independent ISO/IEC
You can't deploy the next generation of reactors without the next generation of fuel.
America's building the future of nuclear. Many of those reactors require HALEU. But America still has no end-to-end commercial supply chain capable of delivering it.
Actinide is changing that.
Actinide was founded this time last year, and was preceded by 8 years of research and development in service of addressing humanity's greatest unsolved problem: control of the atom.
We are atoms. Everything we have ever built is made of atoms. They are the raw materials of
This is not a niche supply problem.
Most of us were taught the periodic table was the full deck, it is not. The 94 elements are only headings, beneath them are over 3000 isotopes, forms of the same element whose difference can determine whether a reactor runs, a cancer medicine
Much like the cavemen who were stuck in a world of rock, stick, and mud, we're presently stuck in a world of 94 naturally occurring elements. Humanity's materials palette is far larger than the one we currently know how to use, and I don't think we can yet imagine what access to
Endurance is a modern descendant of the Manhattan Project's calutron. It uses the same electromagnetic principle, rebuilt around our proprietary hardware and processes, modern vacuum equipment, power electronics, simulation and controls.
America presently relies on foreign production for advanced materials that sit upstream of reactors, cancer therapies, quantum technologies, and other frontier industries.
Actinide is bringing it home.
Already, our first-generation separator, Endurance, is the most productive calutron of its size ever built.
Our next generation, Fortitude, now nearing completion, is designed to provide roughly half the isotope-separation capacity of the U.S. government's current calutron
America shouldn't have to depend on foreign powers for the materials behind its most important technologies.
I'm incredibly proud of the team that made this happen, and grateful to our early supporters.
This is only the beginning.

Incredible work from an incredible team. Reinforcing the supply chain for incredibly rare and difficult to source isotopes is insanely important.
So glad I can finally answer now when people ask me what you do!
As a radiologist dependent on some of these isotopes for medical imaging, this is a game changer.
We are putting a stop to this madness. We are the most powerful country in the world, this dependency should and will be eliminated.
huge deal, crazy that we've let the supply chain for these isotopes be so weak for so long
Huge milestone. Incredible how much you’ve achieved in such a short time.
Congrats to the whole Actinide team!

Thank you, - this wouldn't matter without companies like paving the way for America's Nuclear Renaissance
Incredibly bullish on the future with guys like you pushing material sciences forward, and right here in N Texas!
