This is a very good piece worth reading. Though I’ll say this in defense of the chokepoint strategy: ASML specifically makes for a mediocre source of leverage because of FDPR, massively delayed supply chain effects and the relative weakness of the Netherlands. I think bottleneck evaluation frequently overrates indispensability compared to these factors!
